Building An Audience
In order to build a carear in film you need to build an audience. Here is a few ways how to do that:
Distribution Platforms
It is important to choose the right platform to distribute your web series. If your web series was on geek topics you wouldn't want to put it on Funnyordie as that site is for comedy. It would then be best to put it on YouTube, ITunes. You could put it on YouTube because it is one of the largest places to put videos on. You could put it on ITunes because people download podcasts from ITunes.
Social Networking
To gain even more people to your series you could put it on some social networking sites to gain even more popularity. Some of these sites you could put them on are:
- Tumblr
On Facebook you could make a page for your series and people could go on to that page and check it out and talk about it.

On Twitter you can tweet about all sorts of things. If you make a Twitter page people could visit it and tweet about it.
Tumblr
Tumblr is a website where you can make a blog and talk about anything. If you make a Tumblr account people could visit it and talk about it.
Crowd Funding
If you get a lot of support you could start a Kickstarter campaign to gain money to film the series and gain more support for your project. One example of someone raising enough money was Zach Braff who raised $3 million dollars to make his new film Wish You Were Here from asking for $2 million
Press
Another way you could gain more support is bt advertising your series in a magazine. If your series was on geek topics you could put it in Nintendo, Xbox or Playstation magazine.
